Surat al-Ikhlas is a chapter in the Quran that explains the nature of God in four succinct verses. The Kufic style script was the choice of lettering for Arabic scriptures between the 8th and 11th century CE.
My chosen method of style employs a more floriated version of Kufic , rather than the traditional geometric and angular version. I also included the i’jam, which are the diacritic dots that help to visually distinguish some consonants from other similar-looking consonants, whilst the historical Kufic does not have such marks. The text as a whole visual unit creates a semi-rounded shape as it curves around the edge.
